The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is the steward of the City of Good vision for Singapore, where individuals, organisations, and leaders come together to give their best for others.

Company of Good (COG) is one of NVPC’s programme, oversee by NVPC’s Corporate and Industry Partnership (CIP) department. Through this programme, organisations can obtain recognition for meeting robust standards of doing good across the Five Impact area.

Any Business organisation or Institutions (IHL and Public Service Agency) in Singapore that wishes to make a positive societal impact. The Company of Good Coomunity is ideal for organisations that are committed to integrating corporate purpose as part of their business.

We highly encourage any relevant personnels who are involved with the organisations’ social impact efforts to create an account.

Upon signing up for a Company of Good account via the portal, organisations are automatically considered as members of the Company of Good Community.

To become a recognised COG, your organisation may apply to the COG Recognition system during the application period, annually during January to March.

The COG Recognition system acknowledges who excel in their commitment to corporate purpose and the five impact areas.

The model will offer a new recognition model, guiding companies' purpose-related efforts to undertake and consider holistically the Five Impact areas (link to cp/five impact area), specifically – People, Society, Environment, Governance, Economic.

NVPC will also provide support to organisations through our programmes and partnerships, with the goals of:

1. Encouraging organisations to adopt a more purpose-driven business model;
2. Building Companies of Good that will be assessed more holistically along the Five Impact areas; and
3. Building Champions of Good committed to being strong ecosystem partners

Anyone from your organisation can sign up for an account! However, do note that someone from the organisation will be assigned as an Admin*.

As admins, they will have the rights to edit certain information on the organisation dashboard and approve new account linkages to the organisation.

*the first account linked to the Organisation will be assigned as the Admin.

If you are an admin, you can simply go to the User list and assign roles to accounts on the user list.

If you are not an admin, we advise you to contact the assigned admin to grant you the role. Do note that it is up to the discretion of the admin.
